Round two!
After all the huge strides Inktober pushed me toward in 2020, I couldn't help but tackle it again this year!

WILD WOOD

woodland-themed illustrated playing cards

A summer project, Wild Wood is an enchanting series of semi-transformational playing cards, meaning the value of the card is incorporated into the design. Illustrated traditionally in ink, my dream is to print them into tangible cards.
The suits are divided into themed categories:
diamonds insects
hearts wildflowers
spades mushrooms
clubs tree leaves

INKTOBER 2020

In October of 2020, I participated in the drawing challenge #Inktober. Over the course of 31 drawings, my skill and style greatly improved. This was a huge step toward developing my signature style and technique.

My sketchbook includes my casual art both traditional and digital pieces. Most of my work is competed or conceptualized in my sketchbook. Hopefully the binding can hold on a bit longer...
